Dr. Hans C Hansen MD

Hi! I'm Dr. Hans Hansen. I'm a board certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician, as well as a board certified addictionologist. I obtained my undergrad degree from the University of Denver where I matriculated to the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and then to Yale University School of Medicine for residency and a specialized year in chronic pain management.

My interests are education and helping those suffering from pain, addiction, depression, invisible pain, fibromyalgia, and PTSD. I'm an active educator and lecturer in the field of pain management. I'm also an author, section manager and editor of the largest pain journal available, Pain Physician Journal. I've been treating patients for pain for nearly four decades. I hope this guide will give those suffering from fibromyalgia and their healthcare providers a good start.
